  Manuela Federica

A designer with a profound feeling for harmony and colour, Manuela Federica has always been attracted to decorative creation. The letter she received at the age of 16 from Leila Menchari, Director of the decorative Department at HERMES, sealed her destiny, as did her meeting with Gonzague Saint Bris in 1995.

At 23 she created he own studio on the edge of the Swiss Lake Geneva, where she still works today. Creations in numerous fields such as porcelain, textiles and gift paper have allowed her to marvelously combine art and technique, and to explore more deeply the many means of creation. In 1996 she created the official tableware for the Austrian Millennium, which was launched at the "Viennese Operaball New York" in the presence of his Majesty Archduke Geza of Hapsburg and numerous ambassadors. The cover of the official timetable for the Swiss Railways was entrusted to her in 1997, just after the appearance of her collection of greeting cards.

In 1999 she has just released he 1st collection of bath towels. Her moving style has won over the most famous German porcelain firms, and her silks have dressed the models of the biggest fashion designers. Manuela Federica is the Art Director for an international gift paper company. She has just produced the design for a major German firm, which will this year adorn a train.

Despite her great success, she has one more dream: "I would like to experience other cultures and to work abroad", she says.. with her qualifications, 5 languages and knowledge of Japanese, her dream could soon come true.
